Relegation
Looks a real possibility. 15k crows next season at the London stadium.

The silver lining of a relegation

Sullivan and Gold deserve it.

I don't think we will go down and I certainly don't think we will only attract 15,000 supporters.

If we go down nothing will change with them

If we stay up nothing will change with them

We are royally fucked either way

We have a shockingly bad manager and a totally shite team

Happy fucking days !

even if we are relegated we will still fill out the stadium

Re: Relegation
The worst thing isn’t relegation. It’s being stuck in that stadium.

It’s impossible to enjoy football there. At the Boleyn, we had 30,000+ crowds in the Championship. The bowl doesn’t deserve it though.

Re: Relegation
I genuinely couldn't give a fuck if we go down. The alternative is a full season with Moyes in charge, Kouyate in central midfield, Hart or Adrian in goal, a world class finisher warming the bench, hard fought draws at home to 2nd bottom of the league, and spreading of arse-cheeks and lubing ringpiece when anyone half decent rocks up at the soulless bowl. Hardly wets the fucking appetite.

Re: Relegation
Why would 15k crows suddenly start coming if we are relegated?? Vultures more likely.

Re: Relegation
A lot of people lost their businesses and cursed the Olympics and the Olympic stadium and still curse it today does anyone think it's cursed?, or is it just us West ham fans ?.

As for relegation, I would almost swallow it just to see the chairmen squirming in their seats to an almost empty stadium and loosing millions.

But I love West ham too much to think like that, the fans for a start do not deserve it, but it's down to luck re other teams below us doing worse than us and our players, they have to fight and with respect they look spent and clueless. Moyes somehow for such a defensive tactician has lost his defence
and yes if they cannot defend when faced with a half decent attack relegation is indeed very much a possibility

Is 15,000 crows turning up for a football match good or bad luck? I can never keep up with the old wives tails.

Re: Relegation
15k average crowds?!

Yeah, as we only got 31k average gates the last time that we were down there.

Idiot.

Re: Relegation
We won’t go down but only because the teams below us are equally poor. We have points on the board which is always an advantage. We will get at least 2 more points.

The saving grace is Swansea having to play Southampton and Stoke.

31k to watch West Ham UNITED at the Boleyn in the Championship, sure.

Who knows how many will want to watch West Ham London in the LS if we go down, especially if Moyes stays. Loads of empty seats today at kick off against the PL champions.

Half-empty stadium today on 80 minutes.

A lot of fans have just had enough of the perfect shit storm of GSB + Moyes.

Re: Relegation
Today I realised that relegation would be a fucking disaster in that soulless place.

Not that staying up is a much better option, but home games in the championship would be akin to watching football at somewhere like the the mk dons stadium.

Get used to to the idea chaps. Fat Sam is sending us down on the last day of the season. The irony is just too delicious for the football gods to pass up.

Re: Relegation
I got my first season ticket about 27 years ago. I never really cared about success. Some of my best times have been in second tier. If we're relegated I won't renew mine or my three kids tickets. The club has shown it doesn't give a duck about the fans. So I feel less loyalty to the club than ever before. So I agree that there will be far fewer fans than in previous seasons in second tier if we are relegated. Unless they slash prices

Re: Relegation
Unless your city, United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs or liverpool then the premier league is shit and your kidding yourselves if you think anything different, the rest of us are light years behind, even with our brilliant payet season we were nowhere near, we are merely making up the numbers but no longer as the West Ham we all grew up with, which was the only thing that kept us there in the first place.
